Why a "small" leak never stays small

A tap dripping once per second wastes over 25 litres a day. That is annoying but survivable. What is not survivable is the leak you cannot hear: a weeping joint inside a wall or above a ceiling, quietly soaking plaster for months. By the time a brown stain appears, the damage bill has usually multiplied by ten.

Our rule is simple: if you suspect a leak, get it looked at within the week. Most of the expensive jobs we see started as cheap ones somebody postponed.

How we find leaks without wrecking your walls

Plenty of contractors "find" leaks by hacking tiles until water appears. We work the other way around. A moisture meter maps the wet area, pressure testing isolates which line is losing water, and only then do we open the smallest possible access point — often a single tile or a neat cut that patches invisibly.

What a typical visit covers

• Dripping, stiff or noisy taps, mixers and shower valves — repaired or replaced with quality fittings we carry in the van
• Weeping compression joints and corroded connectors resealed or renewed
• Burst poly and copper pipes cut out and replaced, not patched with tape
• Concealed leak detection for walls, floors and ceiling voids
• Full pressure test after every repair so you know it actually held

Straightforward tap repairs and replacements typically run RM80–RM220 including parts, depending on the fitting. Concealed leak detection with repair is quoted after diagnosis — you approve the number before we open anything. Every repair carries our 90-day workmanship guarantee.
